仕事で来たシアトルだけど、空き時間はレコード屋。あんまり楽しいレコードが沢山ある訳でもなく、ぼちぼち。Blue NoteとかPrestigeは見かけなくて、Contemporaryでやや収穫ってことで、まあ西海岸なんやね、と改めて思う。あと何故かCharles Lloydの60年代も随分。彼も西系かな。あとCharlie Birdも結構あって、やはり西だよね、って感じ。彼はColumbiaだけでなくRiversideも手に入ってニッコリ。
アップしたのはRiversideのオムニバス。有名作曲家シリーズ（６枚あるそう）のうち２枚。何となく真ん中が気になるジャケットでしょ。真ん中はね、ネットで調べると
で、Cole Poter。レーベルは青のもので、オリジナルか良く分からないけど、まだキープニューズがやっていた頃。1962年の発売。曲名：奏者は以下の通りで、録音が良いというRiversideを堪能できるんじゃないかな。ボクもそうだけど、ジャズファンってあまりコンピレーションとかオムニバスとかは買わない。あとでアルバムを買うと2重になるしね。だけど、こんな企画は「曲を味わう」という視点では素敵だと思う。
