トリヴァーは1942年生まれで83歳.まだ現役.日本で云うと佐藤允彦や山下洋輔と同世代.カウェルも同じだ.

昨日アップしたインタビュー記事では,Strata-Eastはトリヴァーが維持してきたようだ.Dead stockを破棄した話が出ているが,2000年頃かなあDUでSlugsの未開封盤を入手して,首を捻った記憶がある.

トリヴァーは1960年代後半の新主流派セッションに若手奏者として参加している.ショウと並ぶ期待の若手だったのだろう.ボクとしては,直球の好みの筈だけど,何故かあまり聴いていない.このあたりがカウェルと共通する謎.
