To Nakama players:

I appreciate all of you for incredible sounds. I still am with your beautiful sounds by vinyl records as above !

I have strong intension on the post-improvised music or post-free jazz as one listener. At present time, we can see the ramp-up timing of the new generations in worldwide. The most curisous thing for me is your parallel activities with recent NYC musicians, like Tyshawn Sorey, Kris Davis, Thomas Morgan, Rema Hasumi and so on. Of course, I do not say both of musical activities are the same or similar, but the standing point and the destonation are very similar. It is the musical resonance !

Both are trying to implement their music with the minimun sound componets and to enhance the meaning/importance of one piece of sounds. NYC musicians are going on the post-free jazz ages in the US. You are going on the post improvised music ages in EU. And both of you are still under re-construction of the jazz music in 21st century.

I can not undestand difficult trials on theories or approaches, but can feel the strong willingness to create something in future. Between compositions and improvisation,  you are standing on the similar place as battle fields.

This is the reason why I can feel my intension on your music tonight at Mokkiriya in Kanazawa. And I believe all of you are on the continous evolution to construct true beuty of the sounds.

I appreciate all of you to share the space and time with sounds that are flying to somewhere toward future.  See all of you in Kanazawa, again. Also I need to say big appreciation to Osawa-san and Hiraga-san.
