SteepleChaseから出ているGolden Circleでのライヴ録音（LP5枚）の残りテイクとのこと。まだレコード５枚は聴いていないのだけど。
Golden CircleはオーネットのBN盤で有名なストックホルムのライヴハウス。オーネットの演奏は1966年なので、その４年前のこと。
あまり語られることのない1960年代のパウエルだけど、決して悪い演奏ではない。神業的な緊迫感が無いだけで、むしろピアニズムは深まり、良い意味での弛緩が与えられる演奏。
ゆるりと聴くパウエルはよい。
Budismって、一瞬、なんで仏教と思ったが、バド主義やね。驚いた。
