1960年代のブート紛いの発掘音源だと思っていたので、長く聴いていなかったが、一昨日以来の1960年代パウエル・ミニ・ブームで聴いてみたら、1950年代の演奏でビックリ（ある意味がっかり）。1982年にElektraから出たものだけあって、立派な演奏。1953年の録音で、ミンガス、ヘインズという弩級のメンバー。ヘインズの押しが気持ちの良いアルバム。やっぱりヘインズはいいなあ。
